Alien Ant Farm

My sister and I decided to make terrariums one day after finding pretty glass jars on one of our many antique/thrifting runs. Its a fun simple project, all you need is:

• glass jar
• found mosses, flowers, plants
• a bit of top soil
• a sculpted figure or trinket
• some rocks and charcoal at the bottom to aid in decomposing

Do it! I dare you!

A Temporary Solution?

So here is a little number I did concerning the polar bear crises,
which is not such a "hot topic" in that it is not exactly 'new' news,
but ironically enough, it is VERY much a HOT topic, is it not?

I have to apologize for the really poor scan, looks like I have an item

to tack onto that everlong shopping list.

Well, I am finally finished school now, have graduated, have slept full days, ate a lot, moved a lot of things, drank a LOT of beer, and one would say rested well. Finally.

But I have to say, I'm going a little crazy without the schoolwork. So, I think its time to put this rest 'to rest.' Or at least get started again, because frankly, I miss it. And also, its about time. Gotta get my groove back.

So here is a little diddle that was once a painting (in its beginning stages) before I got angry and scribbled over it. I just cant get this bearalina out of my head.

Sometimes instead of actually sleeping, I just paint it instead.
So...this is just something 'nice' to round out all of the vulger/crude/dark things I have been dabbling into lately. Something for Mom.

PS Ive been really getting into cosmic-y spacey intergalactic night skies.

HEX-ED

Alright folks. I just spent nearly 200 dollars trying to get this book printed. This book that has kept me up in the night. This book that has me dreaming of Halloween. This book that has impeded my mental, physical and somehow I am sure my spiritual health. AND. ANNNND. After reformatting, colour-adjusting, re-sizing, re-painting, re-typing everything, it appears as though this little puppy has some embedding issues, or profile issues, or daddy issues, or something BECAUSE the previews are all off! AHHHHHH YIIIIKES. If this thing even gets to me on time for our show, I will punch a hard brick if it is missing images or layers etc etc etc.

Anyway. Here is what the cover looks like on screen. And also, a re-touched ending. Time to catch another darling sunrise. Sweet dreams fellow earthlings.

After all it was a REAL haunted house with a REAL witch.
